Nothing is more heartbreaking than hearing from a devoted pet owner whose pet needs veterinary care they can’t afford. Depending upon their pet’s condition the cost of medical care can range from a few hundred to several thousand dollars. Zoey’s Fun Run & 1 Mile Dog Walk is a community event to raise money for Zoey’s Fund; a non-profit 501(c)(3) public charity, whose mission is to enhance and preserve the quality of life of animals by providing access to necessary medical care. Based on established criteria, Zoey’s Fund provides financial grants to assist York County pet parents who are unable to partially or fully cover the cost of their pet's emergency or critical care.
